Ferak Berlin GmbH

	1954	Erich Gründemann founds Ferak as a laboratory chemical company

	1962	Ferak enters the GDR/Russian market and becomes a leading supplier of laboratory chemicals

	1985	82 employees and three sites in West-Berlin

	1992	Thomas Gründemann joins Ferak and starts restructuring the company to R&D contract work and organic synthesis

	1998	Ferak UK office established

	2000	Thomas Gründemann establishes Ferak Berlin GmbH

	2003	Ferak Berlin‘s first product is granted a COS by the EDQM

	2004	50th anniversary of Ferak on 17th January

	2006	Four departments: R&D, Production & Custom Synthesis, Cleaning Agents, Quality Control

	2007	Ferak achieves DIN ISO 9001 accreditation and BImSchG licence

	2008	Ferak Berlin embarks on a two year expansion programme to double manufacturing capacity

	2009	Ferak supplies its products to 40 countries world wide

	2011	Special analytical (XRFA) and new production equipment (-100°C) is installed
