Health and Safety are the main priority at Ferak, and we have a continuous programme to improve production techniques and extend our product knowledge on a daily basis. We believe that scientific knowledge combined with the latest.

safety technology is the best way to protect our environment, and ourselves, from toxic and carcinogenic products. Our H&S programme includes open communication with the responsible authorities in Berlin on a routine basis.

We are officially licensed by the Senatsverwaltung Berlin under German BImSchG

Our Safety technologies include:

· 01 Two independent 50 kg and 650 kg automatic carbon dioxide extinguishers
· 02 Gas detectors in dedicated areas
· 03 46 Heat and smoke detectors connected with the Berlin Fire Department
· 04 Gas washers, solvent condensing systems and 300 kg charcoal filters.
· 05 Fire protection doors throughout the whole building.
· 06 A 24 h alarm system for the whole site connected to a security service.
· 07 Negative air pressure in R&D laboratories and production rooms.
· 08 Use of appropriate clothing for chemical areas including different types of gloves,
masks and filter systems.
· 09 Regular electrical check-ups of all electric machinery and equipment.

	Our Health features include:
	· 10 Free regular medical check-ups for Ferak employees. · 11 Safety training on a routine basis. · 12 Cooperation with the Berlin authorities to detect ppm levels of carcinogenic products. · 13 Threefold filtered (F9 filters for particle removal) and heated air supply. · 14 All work places and offices are completely smoke-free.
